How it works

Three steps, then it becomes a habit.

No timetable, no classroom. Just a short session that fits into a commute or a coffee break.

1

Tell us your why

Family, work, travel or study. A two-minute placement check sets your starting level.

2

Learn ten minutes a day

Listen to native speakers, build sentences, then say them out loud. Everything is graded as you go.

3

Keep the streak alive

Kanyarwanda tracks your streak, hands out badges, and issues a certificate at the end of each level.

Why it matters

President Kagame on learning Kinyarwanda.

A language is not only something to study. It is how a country talks to itself — at home, at work, and in every room where a decision gets made. Four minutes, and worth it before you start Level 1.

About us

Built in Kigali, for anyone who wants to be understood here.

E-Kinyarwanda started with a simple gap: millions of people want to speak Kinyarwanda — returning diaspora, expats, students, visitors — and almost nothing existed to teach them properly. We work with Rwandan teachers and voice artists so every lesson sounds like the language people actually speak.
